C71520 Material Properties

C71520has added iron and manganese for excellent corrosion and biofouling resistance in fresh and sea water. Alloys with nickel content higher than 90/10 copper-nickel have enhanced mechanical properties while still maintaining excellent corrosion resistance.
In clean seawater, the alloy can accept flow rates up to 2.2-2.5%/s. The maximum acceptable velocity in a brackish solution is up to 4m/s. The alloy avoids stress corrosion cracking and nickel removal at high temperatures. Therefore, the alloy has good corrosion resistance to clean or polluted seawater and Jiangwan water, and is widely used in seawater desalination, petrochemical plants, power stations and other heat exchangers.

C71500 (BFe30-1-1) nickel-copper is widely used in shipbuilding, petrochemical, electrical appliances, instruments, medical equipment, daily necessities, crafts and other fields because of its excellent corrosion resistance and easy to be formed, processed and welded in copper alloys.
